I do like my sunsets and my mountains.  Google was nice enough to lead me to Nature Photographers online magazine and then I was able to find this beautiful picture of a sunset in Grand Teton.  I went to the photographers blog and found out that he took this picture while instructing a two day photography workshop in the Park.  I'm assuming the workshop was this fall because he also talked about how the sky had been filled with smoke for nearly three months.

While looking through the National geographic site this week I stumbled across this beautiful picture of a fox at sunset in Yellowstone National Park.  I really like the picture at first because of the lines in it and its color. As I read the caption underneath the picture I was let down.  The photographer spotted the coyote moving and followed it to the other side of the hill to see if they could get a better picture that included the sunset.  The coyote was photographed with a wide-angle lens and allowed the photographer to get close enough to him.  This saddened me because it means that the coyote has been desensitized to human contact.  It also means the photographer followed a wild animal which is not good for the animal or the photographer.
